I wonder if a FoI request would tell us how much training their road engineers get before they design the half-*rsed infrastructure we see around us?

Edinburgh council worst for Freedom of Information

Actually, the article states thar the Scottish Government is the 'worst' ie. slowest to respond. CEC in second position.
What I want to know is, are the replies any use? Not bothered if they're quick as long as they're accurate/informative/detailed/'quality'.
Of course, that doesn't make for catchy headlines...

Would guess this is also linked to sheer volume of requests?
Also fair number of FOIs a bit lacking in point at times.
