So, the flags have been sorted. The bollard issue raised.

What else should be on the snagging list?

West end drop kerb - I made the mistake of going straight on today in the dark, rather than taking the dogleg and heading for the toucan.

I was timing it carefully because there was a cyclist coming on the road, but thought I could slip onto the road and out of his way. Except I'd forgot there was no drop kerb. Ouch.

Also, the leaf build up is narrowing the newly widened pavement. What do we do about that?

I was heading through NMW late one night this week on my way home, coming up MMW from Argyle place and turning right at the junction.

There looked like contractors spray markings on the path which said amongst other things "SLOW", "5mph" and (I think) "hazard lights".

Either it was late and I was imagining things, or they're going to set the junction up as some sort of over-painted, over-engineered level crossing?

Yes it's a potential conflict spot but is there actually a record of accidents here or is it another example of the council going precautions bananas on perfectly safe paths while ignoring real danger areas like Princes Street and Haymarket tram tracks?

I saw them but I think I assumed they were reminders to contractors to not drive their motor vehicles too fast and remember that their hazard lights are for notifying people of a hazard as well as gaining an automatic exemption for parking illegally.

I never thought of that, but it does make a lot of sense!
