Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

Nice one!
Any trees left lying on the QBC must have been left there as gifts for cyclists from Sinterklaas (the Dutch Santa), provided you can get it home by bike ;-)
I took the Ute to collect our artificial tree from the garage, plus all the decorations. Third year of transporting it by bike, first year was a trailer. A bit easier with an artificial tree as it breaks down into sections.....on the other hand I have to transport it back instead of leaving a real tree shedding needles in the street, for the Council to collect.
We got one with roots, so it just gets planted in the garden and dug up again each year for xmas. It doesn't seem to mind! I confess I did use the car to get it home the first time, though.
We've got into the habit of doing it en famille, on foot - which means a 1km-ish return trip with it getting swapped between my right and left shoulders. If there's snow (there has been in some recent years) we use a sledge.
I did bring our apple tree home by bike (upright; roots in pannier) ...
