Sitting here in Laid Back shop and wonder if anyone here would be interested in hiring (or swapping temporarily their regular ride) for the upright, easy going, Paper Bicycle?
Our lovely grey/blue demo comes with 8 speed Sturmey Archer hub gears (working!), dynamo lights front and back plus quietly reliable drum brakes. Full chain guard and kickstand - so think Pashley for 21st century. No cycle clips needed! A great winter bike with Big Apple tyres. Made in Scotland from quality global bits. Finishing is done here including the attractive paintwork and integrated 'starship' rack.

As a special forum offer - 24 hours plus drop off time at £10. Or suggest what you think would be fair and sustainable for a CEC commercial rate payer. We can't afford to pay people to cycle it though!

In theory this is the kind of civilised 'non oily' bike we should be riding in a Northern European city. I guarantee that your commute will be calmer. You can be the judge though. (Maybe we're wrong and everyone should be on Bromptons, Boardman or Hoy bikes?)

    Conditions.
    • No Strava riders!
    • Loss or damage will be charged
    • Can offer for sale - hire purchase over a couple of months. Enquire.

If I had more I'd do my own city hire scheme - but they're not cheap!

    ALSO:
Helios and Morpheus tandems for Sunday hire. Other LB bikes are a bit 'specialist' for general hire but welcome to enquire!

From Fife on a Paper Bike? Hmm. Love to try it but maybe for a leisurely summertime ride.

Yep, would try. I've only rarely experimentally commuted with my slightly-slower sparebike.

    Will it take les panniers?

I could check in my three speed and take the paper - would pay ten pound to try it. Then come back next day for three speed?
