    I almost went up there too this morning - actually got a bit of a squeeze going to the right of it. I made the decision left is for pedestrians

    Of course CCE has a rule about not being rude about members...

    Might be worth shortening by about 20 seconds - and saying where it is so others can be warned.

    If you mean the left arrow it's certainly misplaced!

    - presumably it's meant to be 'helpful' for pedestrians??

    Aye, I'd chop the last bit off that clip if I were you. Highway Code and all that...

    For those of us without YouTube access at work, what sign, and where is "up there"?

    Arellcat, there is a closed footpath on the left so barriers have been put in the left lane to mark off a pededestrian path. At the start of the path there is a 'Keep Left' sign which points drivers and other road users into the narrow ped path instead or a 'Keep Right' steering vehs away from the barrier.

    Right at the end of the clip the cyclist does a huge bunny hop over a group of small vunerable children before mowing down an old frail senior citizen *

    * - Poetic license. ;O)

    It's a "keep left" sign directing road traffic into a coned off area for pedestrians... (On Chapel Street, northbound about the junction with West Nicolson Street).

    I've caught some workmen setting up such a thing before, and pointed out that they'd reversed their arrows!

    This is on Buccleuch Street heading north just as you pass Appleton Tower. There are works on the pavement at the moment and a section of road is fenced off for pedestrians. There is akeep left sign which is intended for pedestrians but confusing as you encounter it on a bike.

    Ah - the last comment is for all the folk that take the mick on my Google+ channel - non-cyclists to a person... If I can work out a way of changing it, I will.
