    A big step in the right direction for sure, but it's now up to the media to report it equally in relation to the men's race. That's the real challenge. I hope that ITV will lead the way and give it the coverage it deserves. Only that way will a proper Tour Feminine replacement have a chance.

    I'm not following this. The link is just to a petition ? All I've seen in the press is a reference to a women's crit on the Champs-Elyseés. No mention of a women's Tour.

    That's exactly what it is, a crit, hence a small step in the right direction. After the women's Tour being dropped, anything linked to Le Tour, especially at the same time as it, is a small bit of progress.
