And today's good news.
Apparently the Duke of Buccleuch is going to allow a 'temporary' (before the tram comes...) cyclepath on the grassy bit by Lower Granton Road.
(Of course CEC should already own this land - but that's another story...)

You going to be updating as you go? I've got a stack of things to do at the house tomorrow, but if (it's a big if, but an if nonetheless) I get things done quicker than expected I may join from Leith Links-ish for a bit. Though I've then got to get back to the house for about 4.15 at the latest...
EDIT: I may just hing about the back of the sewage works with the big lens and stare out to sea waiting for you to turn up.....

Mr Dot is in charge of public relations and social media crossplatforming for this ride I believe.

It is hoped the extra investment could transform areas that have previously resisted development, such as Edinburgh’s long-neglected Waterfront.

No, sadly.
Thinking about raising it with new councillors, committees.
When they finally get round to sorting themselves out.
Not optimistic.

The wee chunk was taken out of the path and seating area at the east of the Silverknowes by the surprise landowners?
Posted 7 years ago # -
Worth another study tour though...

"by the surprise landowners"

(Unrelated of course)
I see compulsorily purchase is back in fashion.
"
Under the deals, the Government would give councils and housing associations funding and make available housebuilding capability from the Homes and Communities Agency. Councils would be able to assemble land, including derelict buildings or unused pocket sites, more easily under reformed compulsory purchase rules.

Think of some dates.

Last time (and we didn't make any deal of it) we had Adam McVey with us from Cramond to Newhaven.
He took some notes but hasn't done anything noticeable with them.

More photos from trip (seem to be in an order all of their own).
