I reckon I'm going to have to skive off work early one day to go to this. Anyone fancy a forum outing?

CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".
IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 15years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.

Saw it yesterday (2 for 1 offer which (I think) also extends to today).
Rivetting stuff, following the Tours from 97-01 and the rivalry between Pantani, Ullrich and Armstrong. Very intense and physical with powerful perfomances from all 4 actors. The guy playing Pantani was born for this role....scarily like him.
Go and see this. I'm off to tweet about it now.

Toodle pip!
Why are these things always in the middle of the day?
In theory my work hours are flexible so I'd be up for it.
"Armstrong’s astonishing comeback from testicular cancer to win the Tour not once but twice, is, of course, well known"
Eh?
One win for each testicle? The other five being for personal glory instead?
I'm not reaaaallly flexible, but work through a couple of lunches and I can leave at 3.30 to get to this...
Presumably it'd be stowed out on a Friday and Saturday...why not make it a Wednesday or something? Then we might have a better chance of all getting a seat.
I could probably get a half day Wednesday if I ask nicely
I went to see Pedal Pusher today and was enthralled. If you haven't seen it already and have tomorrow afternoon off - get a ticket and go.
An impressive bit of theatre. Very physical as well, judging by the smell.
Yes we went to see that on Saturday and it was brilliant. And a bit smelly yes (we were in the front row)! I loved some of the devices they used to illustrate events in the races.
So, only one more chance but if you can take it then do.
