The work is needed to strengthen the foundations of one of the city’s most exciting new developments. One project worker said: “The project will take a long time but that’s an inevitable consequence of the challenge of working on this site.”

Actually if you read the article they have a 5 hour timetable, with 3 hours working time and 2 hours allowed for set up / close down of work.

Is counting up to 5 really probably beyond the Chipwrapper?

This story reads like a ready-made item written by a PR firm working for the developers - "one of Edinburgh’s most exciting developments"; "eye-catching complex", etc. The EEN has pretty much printed it verbatim, I'd say. More quality journalism.
