As you may know the Edinburgh Festival of Cycling first ran last year and was a great success, so we have been working on getting it running again this year. It will run between 12th - 22nd June.

Events are slowly coming in, if you would like to run an event or know anyone who would, the closing date for listing events in the printed programme is the 31st March, please spread the word.

Oh and did I mention that The Guardian has listed the Edinburgh Festival of Cycling as one of the UK's best cycling festivals?

You lucky people have all this happening on your doorstep... ;-)

LB will do Ligfiets Zondag again on Sunday 15th this time. I'll need to convey that to the programme person!

Sunday 22nd has the SCMA (Scottish Cycle Messenger Association) Arthur's Seat Hill Climb. All cyclists welcome (children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult).

Leg and lung bursting fun for all!

More events are being added by the day. If there is anyone who is interested in running an event, the closing date to get into the printed programme is 31st March, don't miss it.

Perhaps there should be a CCE ride/pub event.

    Bridge Inn Ratho?

Also 'should' have a Cramond to Porty ride.

Perhaps (try to) get Forth Ports to let it go through the 'restricted' bit of the Docks.

    Bridge Inn Ratho?"

Ooh, lovely. The PY meet ups are usually a bit too early for me, so this sounds ideal!

With the printed programmes now hitting the streets and tickets starting to go on sale, have you thought about what events you want to go to at the Edinburgh Festival of Cycling?

can someone explain how this event:

    is going to work?

It clashes with the family workshop (and football practice). Can we catch him somewhere else during the day?
