I see the PoP poster has made it out to Balerno. also some activity happening on the path, looks like drainage, there was a river running down the path last week maybe from blocked drain. Anyway the path at the start has had the mud scraped down to hardcore. I note also on the waste ground above the little memorial garden a number of sheets of fencing so I am guessing they will be restricting access at some point. Will keep an eye on this. Nearest access after the start is the flight of steps down from Lanark Road West before the old mill house on the south side of LRW. So not too far, families cycling on the pavement down to this flight of steps usually tolerated.

Whindust down like the stuff that turns to sludge, will get washed away in April unless they get the rollers out.
Also PoP poster gone. I wonder if Michael the water Bailiff takes them down. There is a pole that is outwith his jusprisdiction on the pavement, if I wasn't poorly i would attach one to the pole rather than the fence which is against the path.
Small drainage channel replaced at the start. Currently level with path so no bump getting on at the moment.
