    Post any you've spotted here.

To get things started, I received an email from For Goodness Shakes, who produce recovery an protein products.

My first thoughts were "How and why", closely followed by "April Fool", before I clicked on the link.

    And that takes you to:

April Fool but with 20% discount, so you might find it useful :-)

Chris Froome found to have alien DNA

Re the first of those, "schertz" is German for "joke". It was all sounding quite plausible (other than the Dr's name) until the thinly disguised witch test came at the end!

And of course Froome is an alien, he's from another continent! :-D

This from Audax Ecosse on FaceBook (vis a vis a video of a showboating racer crashing): "We'll probably be seeing a lot more of this stuff when the daft new AUK rule that everyone must finish within 5% of the winner's time is introduced. Was anyone actually awake at the AGM when this was voted in?"

That road.cc one quotes Dr Allan Smithee. Allan Smithee is (or rather was, officially till 2000) the name put on film credits when the director (and sometimes screenwriter & other senior crew members) wished to disown the project they were involved with.

    @SRD that's really good, actually. I like
"The Hailo Tandem Taxi is part of the city’s Advanced Passenger Routing in London initiative and is sponsored by the Fitness Ombudsman for Outdoor London."

And, more seriously, here is a Taxi company using bikes in a positive manner (albeit for an April Fool, but it isn't taking the **** out of cycling).

That flowmountain bike one really appeals to the more immature side of me! It doesn't really class as an April Fool because it's so obviously tongue-in-cheek (oh, bad choice of term!), but it's just so ridiculously funny. Then again, it probabaly could work in reality, considering Specialized already have their 'sitbone device'

However... "The ANUSS smart phone app is also Instagram and Facebook-enabled, allowing you to instantly share a 3D pressure mapped image of your perineum and sit-bones (along with your saddle recommendation) with your friends and fellow cyclists."

    Oh, the humanity!!! Euuwgh!

    It's not strictly cycling:

(OK it's not cycling at all)

    Dehydration Pack? Totally unbelievable...

    ...

He never paid for it! ;-)

Sadly, I know several people who'd probably give that serious consideration!
