No surprise as it was on the cards for a while now. Despite the relative lack of success at the Worlds, I think the GB team is still going to be in good hands and will cope better with the loss of Brailsford than the Sky team would.
GB could do worse than take the obvious route of simply promoting Shane Sutton and, if possible, tempting Jamie Staff away from his role with the USA team.
