If POP heading off at noon cooncillor burns will Need to get his skates on. Actually if big crowd then takes a while to clear the meadows.

    Well -

Sadly, I probably won't be one of them, as I've committed to attending this year's Pedal on Parliament event - with the Harrison Park feeder-ride leaving around 11am.

I think councillor burns has prioritised his Saturday very correctly. Stuck in tynie with planners looking at a plan for a wide area of south west Edinburgh, often with wards where there is little connection to other wards or out with his constituents cycling to parliament. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

Hmmm ... I'm one of the unfortunates who is committed to attend the SW Community Plan Meeting. I probably wouldn't have gone to PoP as I wouldn't normally have been in Edinburgh on a Saturday. However, an opportunity arises ... if I was leaving Tynecastle High around mid-day, and headed to the Parliament, would I be too late?

    Certainly not!

    Leaves at 12.30.

If you run late come via Lauriston Place or Johnston Terrace and join in!

@dg145, nae luck. If numbers big you could leave tynie and get to back of queue at the meadows and join the cycle to the parliament. Takes a while to clear five thousand cyclists up MMW.

Cool. Sounds like a 'two birds ... one stone' kind of a plan. I had intended cycling in to Tynecastle High anyway.

I saw on website 11.30 for 12 but as have been at the other two knew this would be approx. I am of course very rarely pedantic but there is one mention of Sunday but is miles within the info, nowhere near the home page, so I have not raised it.
