  1. After innocently enquiring about whether there was one this year, I've somehow ended up being the one leading it!

So, if you'd like to join the feeder ride, we'll be meeting at the Cricket Club on Leith Links on Sat 26th April at 09:45 for a 10:00 start.

There are details on the POP site and also on the Greener Leith website

Look forward to seeing you there!

Two hours to get from Leith?

Or are you planning a picnic in The Meadows about 11?

Presume you are planning a more devious route than this -

    Perhaps Kezia will join you?

  4. Heading out along the new path from the Links to Seafield, then taking the turning on it to head back to Lochend Park. Keeps that whole part of the route off-road. Then Marionville Road, London Road, Abbey Lane, Abbeyhill, Croft An Righe, Holyrood Park, Commie Pool, to Meadows. It's the same route & timetable that they took last year, when I was marshalling & wasn't on the feeder.

In 2012 when I last did the feeder ride, we had a very mixed group & went at a leisurely pace, stopping regularly to allow everyone to catch back up then have a wee rest if they needed to before continuing :-)

A leisurely pace is recommended along Croft-an-Righ.

  6. Yep - not recommended if you have loose teeth or fillings to begin with. They're certainly loose by the end!
