The counter works in the evening too. We could always make this an evening/beer meet (Doctors, Cloisters, Argyle Bar, Earl of Marchmont all nearby).

mmmm...good idea. and perhaps also easier to manage timewise - eg get people cycling through/filming then go off to pub.
(i could see difficulties with organising this in the mornings, when people are pushed for time/want to have a sit-down, coffee, chat)
