New addition at the Calton Road entrance to Waverley Station: they've installed those wee ramps up the side of the steps to allow you to wheel your bike up or down the flights of steps at the Calton Road entrance/exit. I may post a photo once I get my head around my flickr app. ;o)

Really? I carried bike up those steps after PoP3. So I either missed them or they went in after Saturday?

I also missed the lift which is there too. Also lift from raised walkway onto top of princes at mall

At one point the station had a ramp all the way off platform 20 to Carlton Road. Can't see why they don't open this permenantly, even if its only meant for wheelchair users!

Aye, noticed them this morning. Look very new: putty on the trailing edges looks fresh.

They've had ramps like this on rail, metro station steps in other European countries for decades. Scotland finally catching up...

Sadly missing from many of the U-bahn stations I came out of with a hefty hire bike in Berlin

Odd. Most former 'Socialist' countries have these ramps on steps at all stations. I'm sure they used to have them in (former East) Berlin too.

I think they went in yesterday, the external one first thing, the internal one during the day. Either that or I was extremely unobservant on Tuesday.
