The closed road crit sounds good. Lots of laps on narrow, cobbled streets. Might try to work at home that day and take the kids up to poodle around on the closed roads before the racing starts.

@Instography. I was looking at that trying to work out the route from the description. Sounds like a lot of the closed roads are closed normally.

Dunfermline Closed Road Crit Race - Tomorrow evening.
Anyone spectating / racing?

I'll be there but not to race, although I'll probably try a couple of laps when the course opens as 5.
I'm not sure about their description of "the lovely climb at St Margaret's Street". It certainly doesn't feel like that at the end of my commute.

I've just been for a stroll and this appears to be the route
It's got a combination of tricky cobbled potholes and smooth flowing sections should should be good.
The school's races were cancelled due to lack of interest so it will be interesting to see who turns up tonight.

60 men, and 20 female entries so far. Ladies can enter at the event still.
All the talk is Craig Hardie v Rob Wardell...
