To stock waterproof overshoes in a full range of sizes (particularly anything not XXS or XXL) - according to the first 5 bicycle shops in Edinburgh that I sampled today.

I ended up having to point out at the 4th shop that the "season" for waterproof overshoes in Scotland generally runs from 1st January through to 31st December.

Hurrah for the Bicycle Repair Man who stocks a full range of sizes and flavours

boo to the bicycle repair man for being overpriced and also failing to notice I had a bent axle. Admitedly this was 5 years ago and I've held the grudge.

I'd just started riding and had no idea what was wrong with the bloody thing. My dad had given me the bike and it seemed fine to me apart from a weird shake in the back wheel. Took it to them they claimed it was fine and charged me £15. Took it to the bike coop and they looked at it and said "bent axle" gave me a spare one and lent me the tool to replace it.

They also sell inner tubes for an extortionate rate.

A teenager in Halfords (it happened to be the closest bike "shop" to me at the time) told me I needed to replace my wheel when I took it in to have a broken spoke replaced.

for the record thebikechain was - alas - not one of my visited establishments as I was working in a spiral outwards from home. Had I failed at BRM, needles to say I would have recieved satisfactionat TBC.

Take you dueling gloves back BRM and "demand satisfaction" How are you getting on with the fixed gear riding? Lost the urge to coast yet?
