I need to get to Glasgow Uni tomorrow. Can anyone recommend a good route from Glasgow Queen St Station to University Ave? Or a useful website? (I tried this but it didn't seem to help. I've ridden to Park Circus once before and got tangled in one-ways. It looks like Bath St to start, but then?

Thanks for any suggestions and apologies for posting two questions in two days!

Go to top of page and click "Journey Planner"

    Replace Edinburgh with Glasgow.

Normally when I ride out to Bearsden, I'll go around George Square, follow St Vincent Street west and turn right just after the M8, onto North St. Just after crossing Sauchiehall St, go under the overbridge thing and keep left to get onto Woodlands Road. For Park Circus you would then take second left onto Lynedoch Street, then right, then left.

Then it's a short hop through Kelvingrove Park and Glasgow Uni!

It might be easier just to turn left at Sauchiehall St, go a quarter of a mile and then turn right at Claremont St, which then brings you out right opposite an entrance to the park.

Had a great cycle. Was a bit intimidated by cycling on totally unknown city streets, but took the 'fastest' route, which included a lovely cycle through Kelvingrove. Only wished I'd remembered to punch in a 'return' route, which doubtless would have alerted me that Kelvingrove isn't lit at night... Still, made it through without cycling into the water!
