Quite good actually too. They don't give Keith Brown the last word, despite his attempts to sound all positive and warm towards active transport.

Worth an hour of reading subtitles.

Not sure whether to agree here or the other more recent thread - I thought this programme was excellent - it presented cycling and cyclists way better than anything I've seen before - explaining the benefits economically, presenting cyclists as actual people, and that future-looking cities have to look towards active travel or become an unsustainable anachronism. I like that they even showed how Copenhagen is continually pushing for more bike space. Quick discussion of strict liability at the end too was good. I thought everyone came across really articulately - nice to see Bikeable Jo on there - I'm afraid I don't know the other Edinburgh and Glasgow folk - are they members of CCE?

"Copenhagen is continually pushing for more bike space."

So is Edinburgh, sort of -

The first step is to ensure that the road space and capacity that is available is used as efficiently as possible. Modern methods to manage traffic by linking traffic signals and information systems that respond to changing events on the street can ensure that traffic of all types runs as smoothly as possible. See Section 7.2 for more discussion of this issue.
