"Cyclists in Copenhagen who park their bicycles illegally are returning to where they left them to discover that city authorities have moved them – and placed them in the nearest purpose-built bike rack, while giving the chain a bit of a lube, pumping up the tyres and leaving a polite note asking them to park in the correct place in future."

I wonder where in Edinburgh you are furthest from a bike rack.

Everywhere?
Going to festical stuff recently in the Cowgate and environs, I ended up parking in Chambers Street.

Wow. I could definitely add to the bike rack photos just from my trips through Waverley Station.

Yes, that whole High Street/Cowgate is a bit sparse for bike parking. I think there's some behind the Tron Kirk and there's definitely some in the Grassmarket.

Ah, I thought there might be some at the Tron but the huge bike trashing crowds put me off. Plenty of people stuck their bikes to those metal window grills in Niddry Street. I hope they were all still there when they got back!
