Parking available on the railings on the corner by Farmfoods, on a lamppost outside 92 Nicolson St, outside Tesco (narrow bikes only on the road side) or in Gibb's Entry.

Really enjoyed it tonight! And Kim talked me into a T-Shirt (though I didn't take much persuading, to be honest).
Now to see if I can get my 14yr-old daughter into Magnatom's talk, so that I don't have to miss it...

Excellent talk. I'll be glad when he FINALLY finishes his book. I've followed his site for ages.

One thing though - I wish I'd asked. He stressed that cars were beget by cycles rather than horses and carriages but how about railways and steam engines generally? Wouldn't the 1890s have looked to them when it came to non-muscle transport?
