£5 Service today (Saturday 14)only to raise funds for Tynceastle cycling project

    Morning
    The lads from Soul Cycles will be at Tynecastle high school today doing basic services for £5 12 noon - 3pm
    The object is that all money raised goes to the school to go towards new bikes and proposals for a mini MTB track around the sports field.
    If you know where gorgie rd is Macleod st is just off it beside the railway bridge
    Sustrans will be there too with a stall promoting all things cycling in the city
    Would be good to see some of you there to get your bike checked over.

    We did a similar project last week at Dalkieth primary and raised £150 for their school . Sbhow your support for a local project and pop along.

    Sounds good, had I known sooner would have tried to get you to index my gears for fiver or diagnose the squeak

    Pity this was not a few years back when I worked in tynecastle and tried to run a bike maintenance group open to all but targeting some of the pupils with challenges. People will talk more easily about their troubles as you help them fix their bikes I found. Was largely BMX which I was not so familiar with...
