Bought one for the audax bike. Thanks for the tip!

Anyone had problems with the bracket failing?

Just buy a B&M bracket, you can source them from the UK cheaply.

A quick google search found this:

    http://practicalcycles.co.uk/products/242826--busch-muller-stainless-steel-light-bracket-fits-bm-lights-to-fork-crown.aspx

I have used the shop through ebay before. Also available from Rose Cycles and if you by enough stuff postage is cheap.

    Awesome, cheers.
The bracket on mine knackered within months but the replacement angle-bracket-bodge works fine. I did buy a B&M bracket but ended up using it to attach my mudguard.

Yeah, bracket went on SWMBO's after a (long) while.

I just bought another two of these, good tip DaveC!

anyone have a general idea of how im/possible it would be to fit a dynamo hub to the front wheel of the tandem?

(as in, not for me to do myself, but to ask a shop to do)

I know someone who builds wheels locally to me who has built up at least one Brompton wheel with a dynamo.

The light fastens to the brake/mudguard mount at the crown of the fork. Without a picture of the fork crown I couldn't say. Perhaps Insto would know?

Fitting a dynamo hub to a tandem should be fairly easy. You'll need to get a new wheel built if you don't have a dynamo hub wheel already then it's just a case of fixing the light to the bike (either on the bars, fork crown or forks depending on model of light and bike)and connecting them together.

SRD has a Circe Helios Duo Tandem, I think.

I'll look at the Circe later and see how it would mount. Ours has a disk on the front but imagine it will fit on the mudguard mount like it does on every other bike.

Might buy one for the tandem.
