An explanation from the Council of the terrible road service but no schedule to fix it....
"Condition of Haymarket Terrace - Scottish Water are due to undertake a major sewer diversion and this will include a full reconstruction of Haymarket Terrace between the Haymarket Junction and Coates Gardens. The carriageway was not repaired during the tram works in lieu of this Scottish Water scheme. No specific commencement date for this work has yet been set."

Does seem a bit strange, if a "major sewer diversion" is planned, you'd think someone would know when it would start (to the nearest couple of years??)
On the subject of Haymarket Terrace, is parking allowed in the Greenway here? Over the last few weeks I've noticed that there are always car parked westbound just after Haymarket Yards in rush hour. It's a real PITA.
