Africa in Motion Film Festival cordially invites you to their bike-powered screening

'Cycling through the land of a thousand hills'

    28 June, 6pm, Riverside Museum,100 Pointhouse Road, Glasgow G3 8RS

Share camaraderie with your fellow cyclists on and off screen as you embark upon an epic adventure across the land of a thousand hills in the Riverside Museum, Scotland's Museum of Transport and Travel. We will screen the documentary 'Rising From Ashes' which shows how a bicycle is essential to the lives of the people in Rwanda, it follows the story of two world colliding when cycling legend Jock Boyer moves to Rwanda to help a group of struggling genocide survivors pursue their dream of a national team. As they set out against impossible odds both Jock and the team find a new purpose as they rise from the ashes of their past.

For more information see here: http://www.africa-in-motion.org.uk/films-and-events/?eid=29

We would like to encourage you to cycle to the screening, please let us know if you are planning to come as a group so that we can organise extra bike racks.

Also, if possible will also require two additional bikes for the screening, which need to have derailleur gears with a quick release to be able to fit in the power generators and should ideally be fitted with smooth road tyres.

I particularly like this part: "We would like to encourage you to cycle to the screening, please let us know if you are planning to come as a group so that we can organise extra bike racks."

Wouldn't it be nice if all cycling events said this?
