I've just stumbled across a description of the Windcheetah Andy Wilkinson used to ride LEJOG in 41 hours. It includes the following comment:

Feeding was a major logistical problem, rider consumption was an amazing 81 litres of fluid in 41 hours. This huge fluid intake also meant a huge output... We rigged up a special condom connected to a metre-long tube to provide relief for Andy without having to stop. The tube exited the Windcheetah at the rear of the fairing.

The ideal way to stop wheelsuckers?

Nothing new. I have some condom catheters in my dive kit from my diving. I'd 'connect my self up' to a rubber tube to the outlet valve in my drysuit. Unlike cycling though divers need a balance valve to stop reverse flow!!

I think for my Highlander Audax I'll just stop when I need to.

Any sport requiring catheterisation of the participants has drifted into the realm of absurdist theatre.

    "Audax is not a sport"

You mean it's a 'way of life' or a 'religion' or?

You are quite right. Horse racing is sport, everything else is a game.

"You mean it's a 'way of life' or a 'religion' or? "

A way of justifying prodigious cake consumption (which incidentally is a sport)?

Its justification for me having to cycle to work at least twice a week nowadays.

Look away now if you are fearty!

Back On Topic, the samples I received have a size guide which is hilarious. Its colour coded and a good laugh at a party, when handed out and asked if they know what its for! :O)

    TMI?
You need a thread from a triathlon forum on the best way to pee while riding a bike. That's too much information...

I'm struggling to see how there could be too much variation in technique...
