It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

The Edinburgh Mandolin and Guitar Orchestra invites you to their Summer Concert of Music this evening (Friday 27 June) at Morningside Parish Church. Curtain up at 7:30!
Admission is free, with donations in support of the church's charities aiding people in need.

@chdot - yes, it's my secret life when I'm not riding a bike... Not much crossover between cycling and mandolin I have to admit (I did ride to the station on my folder with mandolin on my back...).
The orchestra is open to new members if anyone has the inclination.
