Just a warning/reminder that Celtic are playing at Murrayfield this evening.
It probably won't cause the same disruption as the One Direction concert last month, but you may want to factor it into your plans.
CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".
IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 15years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

@stickman
I have factored it into my plans by buying four tickets. I haven't been to a game of kickball for more than ten years, but Madame IWRATS' godson has come to Scotland, and he is a fan of this sport.
I haven't seen a Scottish match for over twenty years. Perhaps it will be fun? I'll make a point of talking to any Icelanders I meet...

SUPPORTERS heading to BT Murrayfield Stadium on Tuesday night for Celtic's UEFA Champions League second qualifying round tie against KR Reykjavik are advised to give themselves plenty of time to get there ahead of the 7.45pm kick-off.
There are roadworks on both Calder Road and Drumbrae Road, so supporters should take this into consideration when planning their journey.
"
I was hoping to avoid this all by going out for a cycle after work (live next to the tram stop pretty much) however I imagine this is going to be a busy evening. Glad we BBQ'd last night!
"There are always roadworks. After all, This is Edinburgh."
Fixed that for you.
May just take the A8 all the way to the West End this evening instead of fiddling around the quiet routes through Roseburn and Haymarket.
Hopefully the council will be out to clean up Roseburn Park after the crowds clear. When I went through earlier there was quite a lot of litter being dropped, so watch out for broken glass.
Ah. This explains the situation on the Glasgow Road about an hour ago. Thanks.
