It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

Some local worthy has left a quantity of glass spread across the towpath in the chicane by Bridge 8 (the one under the A71. Take care if you're going that way.
This isn't the accidental result of a late-night drinking session. It's deliberately spread across the towpath in two lines of carefully-placed broken bottles.
I've tweeted it to South West Team and Scottish Canals.
I don't remember seeing anything there just before 9am, although there were workmen cutting grass on the other side of the bridges so maybe they (or some other kind individual) managed to clear it away 'sharpish' (or I was being very unobservant and also lucky).
Thanks for the warning, Greenroofer. I noticed no glass on the way through this morning, but I'll maybe check my tyres at lunchtime.
