The Express apparently took the opposite from the PR. The media in this country really are a joke.

hahaha. That's brilliant. I'm off to listen to the Smiths in my room. With the curtains closed. And put some eyeliner on*

*or perhaps I'm off to do what a normal person does around 630PM and eat a spot of dinner then meet a friend for a pint. Perhaps.

Took my old Brompton to the GFT to see "The Illusionist" last night. Nobody said anything about it so they seem to think taking your bike to the pictures is not worthy of comment. I've been taking it there for years and I've never had a negative reaction.

Some anachronisms, a '60s chip shop wouldn't have deep fried Mars bar. The castle isn't quite as close to the Forth and the bridge is red. The joke about "Blair & Brown" pawnbrokers isn't going to make as much sense in 20 years time. The Goya painting joke in Dr No doesn't really work anymore.

I suspect it wasn't all hand drawn because the busses on Prince's St had internal lights on and the geometry was correct as they moved along the road. There was also a swooping shot above Arthur's Seat which looked computer generated.

I liked how they made a cartoon character move like Tati, particularly when he though he had lost the rabbit for good.

Worth a look and it gave me an excuse to take a bike out for a wee spin into town. Two guys on Edinburgh Rd kept going through red lights every time I got close to catching them then turned round at the Parade.

Think Irene and I will go and see at Cameo.

They'd be on full suspension MTBs and wearing baseball caps I expect? Or am I stereotyping too much?

They weren't wearing baseball caps but they were wearing something there. Other than that you're on the money.

I only wish professional film reviews were as pithy.

The Cameo actually makes a cameo appearance.
