Chris Sherrington had a great Commonwealth Games and did Scotland proud using his 120kg skilfully at Judo to earn his 100g of gold.

"They have been designed by internationally renowned jeweller and maker Jonathan Boyd who worked with a team of eleven specialist jeweller-makers at the prestigious Glasgow School of Art (GSA) to hand make the Gold, Silver and Bronze medals through a series of complex and skilled processes meaning each one is truly unique."

Security will be tight - he is a Marine though, so we should be ok.

Shop opens at 5pm as usual. Chris will have his ICE trike - part of his training regime to keep fit and get him to Ratho when he was training. He did a few tours of Glasgow's bike infrastructure last week and used it to shift all his kit when he left the Athletes Village. Come round and say hi if you like.... Medal is a work of art I hear.

Yep, my wife is a silversmith and loves the design and making of the medals. She said they were possibly her favourite part of the games.

Hope the appearance with Chris Sherrington goes well - he's an impressive guy.

He'll need to know the date.

Chris is pleased to do anything that gives him a chance to ride his trike!

Yesterday he joined us on a small tour with someone that had got hit by a car in her teens. Riding an upright isn't viable for her due to right leg injury so she was fair chuffed to be accompanied by Chris. .

Quite a few people stopped by in the street plus Arellcat from forum. He's really not that frightening (!)

Compare and contrast - Chris's ICE Sprint is same size of frame - he's just a tiny bit bigger!
