Yeah, for the 'right' person - perhaps someone who needs 'convincing' they should have a bike.
If convinced they might prefer a thumbshift lever.
If it was a brighter colour and had a basket on the front (and handlebar shifters), it would have a similar eye appeal as one of the Bobbins which do seem to be very attractive to returning cyclists (and me, I hasten to add).
