I purchased a set of Knog blinders last December but unfortunately my oversized seatpost and handlebars managed to break the silicone strap after a couple of months of usage. Since then I had been attaching them using my own method which wasn’t the most convenient and eventually led to the rear one falling off and smashing. I was on the lookout for new lights but thought I may as well email Knog and explain what happened and enquire about any developments on the strap strength as I liked the lights and would buy a new set if the strap was better. Knog replied saying that the strap has been improved and that they will send me a replacement set. It has saved me 40 quid for new lights and my commuter now has a smaller dia. seatpost. Happy Days!!! Just thought I would share my delight.

Good to know! I've just bought a knog blinder rear light and it's not charging through the clever USB flip connection. Can't see that I'm connecting it in any other way it should but reckon a return trip to Sandy Wallace cycles may be in order!
