I'm starting to commute from Fife to Edinburgh, and want to leave my bike somewhere near the south side of the bridge, such as the south terminal or Ferrymuir. Does anyone know of a bike rack/shed in the area?
Thanks!
CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".

Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

There's a rack outside Tesco @ Ferrymuir
Used the Ferrymuir Tesco rack today stopping for coffee. Small and not covered but the Tesco smokers next to it might be some security
Have a look around the new Transport Scotland place beside the bridge admin block - I think(!) there are racks there.
Taking a look from the road on the way past there certainly looking like a set of Sheffield stands to the west of the contact and education centre. Which is the new building at the north of the Forth Road Bridge car park.
They might even have a canopy over them although it would only offer marginal protection from the elements.
Tesco might be a good idea as its 24 hours I think?
Try the train station as many now have lockers.
... or just meet acsimpson and hand over the keys to your car and take his bike to work? ;o)
