Anyone got recommendations for a basic odometer - just want clock, time of ride, distance of ride, avg kph, max kph.
My current one is on the fritz - it doesn't seem to pick up the magnet anymore.
(PS This is for a hybrid that has flattish forks.)

I've had a couple of Cateye ones which were reliable and cheap. My daughter had a VDO one which worked well too.
Buy some cheap wired computer, you can still find a few if you look. Aldi?
IIRC fill out a questionnaire at the Bike Station and they'll give you a free computer which will cover you for these. Maybe call and check first as this was at the start of the year and they may have stopped doing it.

Too late for Gibbo, but I have a tesco one which I keep as a spare in the garage. It only takes a couple of minutes to fit and does the job of a basic machine if anything happens to my main one.
