    including Dalmeny House, in West Lothian

    I wonder where EEN think Edinburgh ends and West Lothian starts.

    It will be interesting to see if the NGS bid for the work, which has been on the Mound since 1978;

    Not much chance of a joint purchase with the Tate this time I don't suppose. Perhaps they should just commission a Relievo reproduction?

    Perhaps if there's just the 2 of them rattling around in that big old draughty hoose with a leaky roof and such tasteless décor that they could consider downsizing somewhere and keeping the painting. Saves the NGS having to bid for it to keep them in a mansion.

    Maybe have their bags packed already and have another house to move to?
