"Ironically that was Victoria Pendleton recreating an iconic image of... Lance Armstrong"
AH, I didn't know that.
Is that the biggest version of Lance you can find?
He doesn't look comfortable - in both senses.
CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".
IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 15years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.

There were bigger, but I don't have a bottle of mind bleach to hand.
No, I remember seeing the Lance pic when it was first published and wondered whhat the point was, then Victoria Pendleton recreated it and I still couldn't see the point.
Actually I don't think it was Victoria Pendleton I was thinking of.
You may have been thinking of Rebecca Romero, who did a similar shot for a Powerade ad campaign. I'll refrain from posting an image here ;).
However, so that the admen aren't accused of exploitation (although that's about all I'll defend them on) I would note that this was an equal opportunity gratuitous nudity / opportunity for olympic athletes to show off their sculpted bodies (delete as appropriate) as there were similar naked photos of a triple jumper and swimmer of the male persuasion.
They then went and did it again with some rugby players - all male again. Google is your friend if that kind of thing floats your boat.
Think Niki Gudex:
Arellcat - glad to see that
"end up referring to the day as the “Skyride”. I don’t know about you, but every time I call it that, I get a little bit of sick in my mouth."
Contrast with today where 2 million cagers have locked down London. Carnage was how a mate of mine described it.
@steveo - cagers? tube strike?
Roads are apparently full of moron drivers who thought they'd be the only one to think of taking the cars today...
Rofl @ daily mash!
