Cross Canada trip reaches St John's (aka The End)

    I can't find the original topic on this epic Nazca Quetzal ride from BC to Newfoundland....

    Forum search is bit odd sometime.

    Anyway they made it and hauled up the union flag saltire at Mile 0.

    Turns out Newfoundland has hills ;-)
    SRD will confirm this no doubt...

    "After 926km and over 26,000ft of ascent since we left Port Aux Basques, we arrived at St John's."

    Whole journey was this.
    "Our final total was 8,192km or just over a fifth of the circumference of the world at the equator. Canada is wide."

    So these guys have now done more miles on a recumbent tandem than me. That's 4000 trips over the Meadows!
