This was also mentioned on here last week when Greenroofer was gazing longingly at a chestnut brown bicycle and virtually ignoring its rider.

Big Ged one of the founding father's of EBC was out at our cinema in Balerno last night Very good film - good vibrations. About Belfast record shop owner in 1970 Terri hooley. We also had a great mind reader Colin cloud as opening act. GED was in his trademark tweed jacket but did not know about the tweed ride today. Does it not get advertised much?

I think the Edinburgh Tweed Ride is tomorrow, about 12pm at St Andrew Square.

Looks like their registration was happening yesterday but tickets are still available today from 11.30a.m. Tickets you say? Yes. How much? Eighteen quid. What, eighteen quid to cycle about edinburgh in a tweed jacket from Harvey nicks to walker slater in Victoria street? Yes. Anything else? Yes, if you have a moustache it must be properly waxed, not all straggly.

    Changing subject slightly

I saw Roy Keane on telly last night he seemed to be advising paul lambert at Aston villa. Roy has gone for the full Ronnie Drew beard (frontman of the Dubliners ) but has kept the crew cut. Roy would need to trim his beard to be allowed on the tweed ride.
