    Bit strange? Halfords buy Boardman bikes and then launch another brand competing right with it?

    I don't know the background of this particular option but it's not unusual for companies to own two or three competing brands as consumers will think there is increased competition and so subconsciously think prices are more competitive than they actually are.

    yeah its just seems weird to go with a brand new range so close after buying Boardmans company.
