"[Mayor] Joe Anderson has promised that roads where the lanes are scrapped will have better provision for cyclists."
I'll be intrigued to see how that will be the case...
CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".
IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 15years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.

Cycling in to Edinburgh I only take the double lane road past Westerhailes when the bus lane is on, or late in the evening when little traffic.
It feels much safer when the bus lane is on, as only professional drivers, Edinburgh buses or taxis don’t seem to drive very close as some van and cars do.
I wonder where this anti-bus lane thinking is coming from.
