I bet most of those journeys could be made by bicycle.
Would teach the cooncil a thing or two about cycle infra as well...

Wonder if their new park vehicles will be any better at not churning the grass into mud when driven along paths which are narrower than the axle width.

I guess the council has convinced itself it "needs" to replace it's existing fleet on a 1:1 basis and that there aren't any options to reduce the fleet size by reducing unnecessary vehicle journeys (e.g. parking council vehicles in bus lanes while occupants nip to chippy). Not that they have a budget squeeze on or anything.
