Tramline perils come the winter freeze...

  1. I've noticed there's always a big puddle at the tram crossing just after you come down off the bridge on the Balgreen path, heading Gyle-wards. Usually still cornering slightly as you hit it, so it's going to be a fabulously slippery spot when we start getting freezing temps.

We should start a sweepstake as to which of us will come a cropper first ;-)

Have you got an 8 figure Grid ref please? I can't see where this is in my mind.

  5. That's the one, Hankchief - and that's it on a good day when it hasn't rained for quite some time!

Ah we used to call that 'otherenditus, when we had coms problems in the Army. No not my fault, its the other end.... I had this with Fife Council and Bear Scotland blaming each other for a bit of the A90 path which came off the FRB a couple of years back.
