Had an email saying various people had problems today due to thorny hedge cuttings on towpath.
"... we had multiple punctures on all bikes ... this put an end to our ride and will cost me £30 in new tubes ... was about 2 miles by Broxburn but I was talking to another cyclist from Ratho he said he also got a puncture in both wheels and it was like that for a couple of miles"

Thirty quid? How many wheels does this bike have?! You can get a ten-pack for about that price.
@Douglal I'm going to hazard a guess it may have been a familyworth of bikes + the spare tubes may also have punctured?
