THE MIDLOTHIAN COUNCIL (B6457 FALA) (TEMPORARY ROAD
CLOSURE) ORDER 2014

The Midlothian Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 14(1 )(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf hereby make the following Order:-
1. This Order may be cited as "The Midlothian Council (B6457 Fala) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2014" and shall come into operation on 17 November 2014.
2. This Order is being made to facilitate road maintenance works. Save as provided in Article 3 of this Order the full length of the B6457 Fala will be closed to through traffic.
3. Nothing in Article 2 of this Order shall prevent any person from driving or causing or permitting any vehicle to be driven on the part of the roads specified in this Order (a) if the vehicle is in actual use in connection with the works there or (b) is being used by the Police, Fire or Ambulance services in connection with an emergency.
4. The alternative route for pedestrian and general traffic is via the A68 trunk road and the B6368.
