I noticed just now that Google Streetview has been updated for my street, the pics must have been taken at some point this year.

We reckon June. Wife and I are actually in the front garden when it took the pictures. I am in bike gear!

Well my front porch is still a wreck in Streetview, so that's over a year ago. Harumph!

Google earth has my back yArd without the obligatory trampoline. And front might have the car where the computer switched everything off in the middle of gillespie's x-road. Nice.

They did Dalkeith Road in June - complete with family-RJ.

Our back door is wide open, suggesting warm weather, so June certainly sounds likely.

Some versions of streetview give image dates, and some let users choose from any different dates they have eg new version of desktop but not classic

In Chrome it tells you the month but not the date and lets you view historical images too.

Our recycling is out so it must have been a Friday.

Some "trek view" images have appeared on the map. Arthurs Seat in Edinburgh is up there (has it been there long? I've only just noticed, prompted by a story on the beeb).

Also can see content from Glen Coe and a bit in the Cairngorms.

I saw the Google car in Preston Street in early June, unfortunately it was stationary and so didn't record the (then very new) Urban Arrow in action.
