Seemingly all over the place this morning but there are bits of grassmarket that are like an ice rink... saw several people slipping over on the pavememt. It's all over the roads too - bottom of Candlemaker row is really slippy - pretty easy to see at the moment but will be damgerous in the dark..

diesel spills

Lothian Buses seem to take a very generous approach to their diesel fuel. I've seen a bus emitting a stream of fuel like a micturating bovine, and rarely see spilt diesel off bus routes.
Maybe the hive mind could Twit them?

Oddly the worst of this was on the pavement but I've also seen vehicles that are freshly filled up with diesel chucking diesel out as you say. On vans often it's decayed pipes from the main tank to the expansion tanks. Don't know about why it happens on the buses.... I'll ask Blakey.
