Thanks, I didn't realise that the loop under the bridge wasn't a sealed road. I've looked for a good route to Hawes Pier a couple of times and that would be far better than anything I've used so far.

Tesco/B800 roundabout very slippery this morning, I got wheelspin pulling onto the ronudabout. I'm not exactly chris hoy either.

I'm back on the bike and took the Route1 which was non slippery but busy with skool run moms*! Jeepers, get off my rear wheel driver!!
* not exclusively Mums, Dads could be involved too!
